South Plainfield - Alice M. (Johnston) MacNair, 96, died on Friday, October 16, 2015 at home
Born and raised in Plainfield, Alice has been a resident since 1925.
For 35 years, Mrs. MacNair was a secretary for the South Plainfield Board of Education and a longtime communicant of Sacred Heart RC Church in South Plainfield.
She is predeceased by three sisters and one brother.
Surviving are her husband of 73 years Francis J.; her two children, Darlene MacNair of Lake Oswego, Oregon and William MacNair of Pismo Beach, California and two sisters, Eleanor Saverd of Bridgewater and Helen Johnston of Plainfield.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, October 19, 2015 at 11AM in the McCriskin - Gustafson Home For Funerals , 2425 Plainfield Ave., South Plainfield, NJ 07080
Interment will follow in Holy Redeemer Cemetery, South Plainfield.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 18, 2015 from 5-7pm in the funeral home.
