Edison - Rosemary Semenas, passed away on Monday, November 10, 2014 after a long battle with Ovarian Cancer in St. Peter's University Hospital in New Brunswick. She was 59.
Born in Newark, Rose resided in Iselin prior to settling to Edison 10 years ago.
She worked in the Woodbridge School system as a Para Professional for several years.
Rose was an avid traveler and loved to go on cruises. She enjoyed salt water fishing, photography and paying visits to casinos.
She is predeceased by her parents, John and Gilda Galliano.
Surviving is her loving wife Sandra Semenas; two sons, Timothy J Costello of Greenville, SC and Joseph Costello of Montclair; as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins. Also surviving are many loving close friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 16, 2014 from 2-6pm in the McCriskin - Gustafson Home For Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Ave., South Plainfield, NJ 07080.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, November 17, 2014 at 11am in the funeral home.
Cremation Service will follow privately.
In Lieu of flowers, the family has specifically requested donations be made to the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund, INC., 14 Pennsylvania Plaza, Suite 1400, New York, New York 10122
