Anthony N. Costa, 67, died Monday, November 10, 2014 at University Hospital in Newark.
Born in Newark, Anthony was a life long resident of Union. Honorably discharged from the U.S. Army in 1973, Anthony was owner and operator of Costa Construction Corporation.
A family man, Anthony enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, as well as hunting and skiing.
Surviving are his wife of 43 years, Mary Ann (Fee); two daughters, Cara Perhach and husband Stephen and Kimberly Rundella and husband, Nick and brother, Richard Conte.
He will also be missed by his four grandchildren, Gianna, Giovanni and Giancarlo Rundella and Hudson Perhach.
Funeral services will begin on Thursday, November 13, 2014 at 9:15AM in the McCriskin - Gustafson Home For Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Ave., South Plainfield NJ 07080 followed by a funeral mass at St. Bartholomew the Apostle Parish, 2032 Westfield Ave., Scotch Plains, NJ 07076 at 10:30AM.
Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery.
Family and friends may attend visitation on Wednesday from 4-8PM in the funeral home.
