Nardine Bencivenga
Toms River - Nardine (Fania) Bencivenga, 88, died on Monday, December 24, 2012 at Community Medical Center in Toms River.
Born and raised in Plainfield, Nardine and her late husband Frank, settled to Toms River 32 years ago.
An avid cook, Mrs. Bencivenga was homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family, as well as traveling to Atlantic City and playing bingo.
In addition to her late husband, Mrs. Bencivenga is predeceased by all of her siblings.
Surviving is her daughter Marie Owdij and her husband Mikola of Whitehouse Station and her two grandchildren; Jacqueline Woodson and Michael Owdij.
Funeral Services will begin at 9:00 AM on Friday, December 28, 2012 in the McCriskin - Gustafson Home For Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Ave., South Plainfield, NJ 07080 followed a 10:00 AM funeral mass at St. Bernard of Clairvaux & St. Stanislaus of Kostka RC Church, Plainfield.
Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery, Scotch Plains.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 27, 2012 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM in the funeral home.
