James G. Schnyderite
Edison - James G. Schnyderite, 84, died on Saturday, April 9, 2011 at home surrounded by his family.
Born and raised in Larksville, PA., Mr. Schnyderite resided in Newark prior to settling to Edison.
During WWII James served with the Navy as a Carpenter's Mate.
He worked as mechanic for the John P. Callaghan Company in Harrison and was also a member of the South Plainfield Knights of Columbus Council # 6203.
He is predeceased by 2 sisters; Marie Chabala and Jean Zimmerman.
Surviving are his wife of Agnes, his daughter Cheryl Morette and her husband Fred of Port Monmouth, 2 sons; James and his wife Karen of Plainsboro and Ronald Sr. and his wife Mary Ann of South Plainfield, his brother George and his wife Marge of Keansburg and 6 grandchildren; James and John Schnyderite, Ronald Schnyderite Jr., Kelly Graham, Grace May Casper and Joseph Morette. Also surviving are 3 great grandchildren; Jillian Schnyderite, Peter Morette and Colin James Casper.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, April 13, 2011 at 11:00 AM in the McCriskin - Gustafson Home For Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Ave., South Plainfield, NJ 07080.
Interment will follow at Holy Redeemer Cemetery, South Plainfield.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 12, 2011 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM in the funeral home.
