South Plainfield - Matthew C. Rinaldi entered eternal rest on Saturday, August 15, 2015 surrounded by his family at St. Peter's University Hospital in New Brunswick. Born May, 27, 1974, in Lakewood, he spent most of his life in Piscataway. Matthew was a carpenter by trade and one of his achievements was contributing to the restoration of the Metler- Bodine House in Piscataway. He was an avid fisherman and took many memorable fishing trips including Salmon fishing in upstate NY and taking his boat out to Round Valley Reservoir. He also enjoyed many camping trip with friends and family, but music was his passion and he could always be found with a guitar in hand. Matthew is survived by his wife, Jennifer Kertes Rinaldi and daughter, Madison of South Plainfield, mother, Mary Elizabeth Cole and her husband, Wayne of Pa., many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, siblings, nieces, nephews and friends. His love, friendship and laughter will be deeply missed. Family and friend may attend the visitation hours on Tuesday, August 18, 2015 from 4-8 PM in the McCriskin - Gustafson Home for Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Ave. South Plainfield NJ 07080. Funeral services will take place on Wednesday at 9:30 AM in the funeral home. Committal services will follow in Resurrection Burial Park, Piscataway.
