Obituary of Kenneth G. Sable

Edison - Kenneth G. Sable 71, died on Saturday, November 2, 2013 surrounded by his family at home. Born in Perth Amboy, Ken grew up in Woodbridge and had resided in Edison for over 40 years. Ken enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1960 and was honorably discharged in 1966. Referred to as Grandpa Ace and Pop, Kenneth enjoyed traveling to Atlantic City and was an avid fan of the college basketball particularly the NCAA College Basketball Tournament. In addition, during his younger years Ken enjoyed bowling. Surviving are his wife Donna (Diana) of Edison, his children; Kenneth and his wife Jean of Jackson, Lori LaPiano and her husband Anthony of Hamilton and Michael Doctor of Massachusetts, his brother Robert Timinski and his wife Jane of Port Reading and a sister Maryann Ferris and her husband Jim of Manalapan . Also surviving are seven grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, November 6, 2013 at 9:30am in the McCriskin - Gustafson Home For Funerals 2425 Plainfield Ave. South Plainfield, NJ 07080 entombment will follow at Holy Redeemer Cemetery Mausoleum, South Plainfield. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 5, 2013 from 4-8pm in the funeral home. In Lieu of flowers donations have been requested to Homeside Hospice, 67 Walnut Ave., Suite 205 Clark, NJ 07066.
