Catherine Conselina South Plainfield - Catherine (Bottone) Conselina, 91, died on Wednesday, July 27, 2011 in the Haven Hospice at JFK Medical Center in Edison. Born in Italy, Mrs. Conselina grew up in Plainfield and settled to South Plainfield over 40 years ago. Catherine served her family as a homemaker and was a member of the Sacred Heart RC Church in South Plainfield. She is predeceased by her first husband, Andrew Santa Barbara and her second husband Patrick Conselina, her daughter Marie Corbo, three sons; Walter and Andrew Santa Barbara and Vincent Conselina two sisters; Angelina Bottone Vurtullo Lisko, and Antoinette Bottone Pasko and by her three brothers; John Bottone Sr., and Matthew and Angelo Bottone. She is survived by her children; Reverend Robert Santa Barbara of New Brunswick, Anthony Conselina and Betty Ann Dziuba both of PA., her sister Caroline Bottone Russo of Plainfield, her grandchildren; Louise & Lisa, Gail, Edward, Walter, Diane, Andrew and Michelle and 8 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are numerous extended members of the Conselina family as well as several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, July 30, 2011 at 9:15 AM in the McCriskin-Gustafson Home For Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Ave., South Plainfield followed by a 10:00 AM funeral mass at Sacred Heart Church, South Plainfield. Interment will follow in Hillside Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday, July 29, 2011 from 6-9 PM in the funeral home.
