Obituary of Stella M. Weaver

South Plainfield - Stella "Nanny" M. Weaver, 83, passed away at home with her beloved family at her side on Saturday morning, August 17, 2013.
Born in Culpepper, VA., Stella settled to South Plainfield in 1966. She had worked at the Texize's Chemical Company in Piscataway.
Stella was a member of Cedarcroft Bible Chapel in South Plainfield, she enjoyed collecting pictures and loved animals. As a devoted and supporting grandmother and great grandmother, she could always be found supporting her grandchildren at their school and sporting events.
She is predeceased by her husband, Charles L. Weaver, surviving are two children; Shirley Thompson and her husband, John, Bill Weaver and his wife, Jackie and a sister, Peggy Moore and her husband, Collis all of South Plainfield.
She also leaves behind her grandchildren; John and his wife, Deneen, Jerry, Candice and her husband, Matthew, Heather, Cindi, Billy, Danielle and Tony. As well as, great-grandchildren; Kasi, Daniel, Anthony, Angelique, CJ, William and Jamel, many nieces , nephews, extended family and dear friends.
Funeral services will begin on Wednesday, August 21, 2013 at 10 AM in the McCriskin - Gustafson Home For Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Avenue, South Plainfield, NJ 07080.
Interment will follow in Hillside Cemetery, Scotch Plains.
Family and friends are invited to join together for visitation on Tuesday from 4-8 PM in the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Plainfield Area Humane Society, 75 Rock Avenue, Plainfield, NJ 07060
