Somerset - Denise Barry, 42, passed away surrounded by her family at her side on Monday, May 4, 2015 in the Center for Hope Hospice in Scotch Plains.
Born in Livingston, Denise resided Roselle Park, Edison and South Plainfield prior to recently relocating to Somerset.
A Born Again Christian, Denise was a member of the Evangel Church in Scotch Plains. .
She worked in the retail industry as a Manager at the Macy's Department Store in Livingston and enjoyed volleyball, bowling and followed the NY Yankees.
In addition, Denise had a love for animals and enjoyed family barbecues and parties.
Denise is the beloved daughter of Cheryl and James P. Barry Sr. of Somerset; loving brother to James P. Barry Jr. of South Plainfield and the generous aunt to Brooke, Trevor, Tyler, Tristian and Matthew. Also surviving are many extended loving relatives, friends and her boyfriend Andrew Hyer.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, May 11, 2015 at 10AM at the Evangel Church 1251 Terrill Rd, Scotch Plains, NJ 07076
Cremation Services will follow privately.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 10, 2015 from 3-7pm in the McCriskin - Gustafson Home for Funerals 2425 Plainfield Ave., South Plainfield, NJ 07080.
In Lieu of flowers donations have been requested to the Evangel Church 1251 Terrill Rd. Scotch Plains, NJ 07076
