Obituary of Marilyn E. Hafler

Dunellen, NJ - Marilyn E. (VanFleet) Hafler, 84, entered into eternal rest with her loving family by her side. Born in Scranton, PA, Marilyn lived in East Orange, Piscataway for eleven years and Dunellen for forty years. Marilyn loved watching her daytime soap operas as well as doing laundry and dishes. She is predeceased by her husband Alfred who passed away June 20, 2010 and by her siblings; Roberta Williamson and Fred Travis. Marilyn leaves behind her children, Lisa Hafler of South Bound Brook, Michelle Osterberg and her husband Larry of Helmetta, Raenel Posey and her husband David of Lakeland, Fl and Danielle Porosky of Helmetta. She will be missed dearly by her four grandchildren, Nicole Robinson and her husband Jerry, Michael Porosky, Justin Posey and Christy Mellor and her husband Brandon. Also surviving are five great-grandchildren, Gage Leander and Ashlynn Nicole Robinson, Rylan Foxx Posey and Maycen Grayce and Dash Maddox Mellor Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, August 22, 2015 at 10AM in the McCriskin - Gustafson Home for Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Ave., South Plainfield, NJ 07080. Interment will follow in the Fairlawn Cemetery in Dalton, PA. Visitation will be in the funeral home on Friday, August 21, 2015 from 4-8pm.
