Joanne C. Fila

Voorhees, NJ- Joanne "Joan" C. Fila died on Thursday, December 29, 2011 at CareOne @ Evesham in Marlton, NJ. Born in Plainfield, NJ she had resided in North Plainfield since 1965 before moving to Voorhees.

Joan worked in the mortgage department of A.A. and loved reading, crossword puzzles and enjoyed music.

She is predeceased by her husband, Stanley who died in 2010 and her son Gary who died in 2008

Surviving is her son Steven of Voorhees, her sister, Fran Courtney of Florida and a grandson Bryan Fila of Virginia.

Relative and friends will be gathering for visitation on Tuesday, January 3, 2012 at 11:00 AM in the McCriskin-Gustafson Home for Funerals 2425 Plainfield Ave., South Plainfield, NJ with a religious service to begin at 12:00pm. Interment will follow in Hillside Cemetery, Scotch Plains, NJ
