Richard DiGiacomo, 80, passed away Thursday, October 8, 2015 at JFK Medical Center in Edison.
Born in New York, NY, Richard resided in Queens, NY before settling to South Plainfield 30 years ago.
Richard worked on Wall Street for forty years in various capacities prior to his retirement in retail sales ten years ago.
He was an avid golfer, and will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.
Surviving are his wife, Patricia J. (Paskevich) of South Plainfield; two children, Richard DiGiacomo and wife Rose of Colorado Springs, CO and Laura Rogner and husband Michael of Queens, NY; four grandchildren, Anthony, Dita, Vincent and Michael and one great grandson, Ian.
Visitation will be on Monday, October 12, 2015 in the McCriskin - Gustafson Home For Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Avenue South Plainfield, NJ 07080 from 2-4PM and 6-8. A prayer service will begin at 8PM.
Cremation services will be held privately.
