Obituary of Antoinette Festa

Scranton, PA - Antoinette (D'Ecclesiis) Festa, 84, passed away on Monday, February 15, 2016 at Wayne View Care Center in Wayne Township, NJ. Born in Gravina, Bari Italy, she moved to Cliffside Park in 1960 and resided in Middlesex from 2000 until settling to Pennsylvania in 2011. Antoinette spent her time as a homemaker and travelled the world as an assistant designer. She is predeceased by her parents Giovanni and Antonia (Lafronza) D'Ecclesiis, her husband Dominick and by her six siblings. Antoinette is survived by her loving children; John Philip and his wife Diane of Byram Township, NJ, Maria Festa of South Brunswick and Lorraine Festa and her fiancé Gary Savidge of Pittston, PA. She also leaves behind her six adored grandchildren; Danielle, Dominick, Eric, Kevin, Jodi, Cindy, two cherished great-grandchildren; Salena and Brielle and her dear brother and sister. Visitation will take place in Middlesex Funeral Home, 528 Bound Brook Road, Middlesex, NJ 08846 on Wednesday, February 17, 2016 from 5-9pm and on Thursday, February 18, 2016 from 8:15 am until 8:45 am. Funeral services will begin 8:45 am in the funeral home on Thursday, February 18, 2106 followed by a 9:30 am Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Mount Virgin Church, 600 Harris Avenue, Middlesex. Mausoleum entombment will follow at Resurrection Burial Park in Piscataway.
