Obituary of Mary E. Fessock

Mary E. Fessock South Plainfield- Mary E. Fessock, 92 , died on, Thursday, November 15, 2012 in the Genesis Eldercare at the Woodlands in Plainfield, NJ Born and raised in Woodbridge, Mrs. Fessock settled to South Plainfield in the 1950's. Mary worked as a crossing guard in South Plainfield at the corner of Park Avenue and Maple Avenue for 18 years and trips to the mall on Senior Citizen's Day was always a favorite pastime. She is predeceased by her husband Andrew, all her brothers and sisters and her grandson Kyle Slavin. Surviving are her 2 daughters, Christine Diller and her husband Joseph of South Plainfield and Andrea Slavin of Sarasota, Florida, her four grandchildren, Dana Slavin, Jamie Cole, Melissa Diller, and Lindsay Diller and three great grandchildren; Makenna, Camryn and Christian. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 19, 2012 at 10:15 AM in the McCriskin-Gustafson Home for Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Ave., South Plainfield followed by a 11:00 AM funeral mass at Our Lady of Czestochowa RC Church in South Plainfield. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery, Scotch Plains. Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 18, 2012 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM in the funeral home.
