Obituary of Anna M. Formica

Anna M. Formica Monroe - Anna M. (Caroccia) Formica, 85, died on Sunday, January 22, 2012 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick. Born and raised in South Plainfield, Anna resided in the borough for majority of her life prior to relocating to Monroe in 2009. Mrs. Formica worked as key punch operator group leader for Mack Trucks in Somerville. She loved collectibles, traveling with her husband Willie, absolutely adored shoes, dressing up and entertaining family and friends. In addition, Anna was a very special aunt to her several loving nieces, nephews and cousins. Surviving is her beloved husband William, a sister Jean Fantazir of Bridgewater and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, January 27, 2012 at 8:45 AM in the McCriskin - Gustafson Home For Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Ave., South Plainfield, NJ 07080 followed by a 9:15 AM funeral mass at Our Lady of Czestochowa RC Church, South Plainfield. Interment will follow at the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Wrightstown, NJ Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 26, 2012 from 4-7 PM in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Way, Memphis, TN 38105.
