Obituary of Charles A. Mohn

Monroe - Charles A Mohn, 99, died on Saturday , April 12, 2014 at the Merwick Care and Rehabilitation Center in Plainsboro. Born in Union City, Charles grew up throughout Hudson County and resided in South Plainfield and Little Egg Harbor prior to relocating to Monroe three years ago. He worked as a Traffic Manager for the former American Cyanamid in Linden prior to retirement. For many years Charles served as a Scout Master for the South Plainfield Boy Scout Troop #125 and enjoyed gardening as well as playing golf. He is predeceased by his wife Margaretta, a son William and by his brother Jack. Surviving are his four children; Marilyn Callahan and her husband Robert of Monroe, Janet Siecinski and her husband Ronald of Milford, Richard Mohn of Thorton, CO. and Charles Mohn and his wife Karleen of Medford, MA. Also surviving are two grandchildren; Lisa and William Mohn and a great grandchild; Gabriel Reynoso. A Funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at 11:30am at Sacred Heart RC Church, South Plainfield, NJ 07080. Interment will follow at Holy Redeemer Cemetery, South Plainfield.
