Obituary of Charles W. Pornovets

Charles Pornovets Piscataway - Charles Pornovets, 45, died Friday, August 31, 2012 at home. Born and raised in South Plainfield, Mr. Pornovets resided in Piscataway for the past 16 years. Charles enjoyed photography and astronomy and also excelled at bowling. He was a well known bowler in various bowling allies throughout the Green Brook and Edison allies. In addition, Mr. Pornovets was an avid supporter of waterfowl and often donated to the Carolina Waterfowl Rescue organization. He is predeceased by his parents; Florence and Alexander Pornovets. Surviving are his wife, Cynthia (Lowman), his daughter Nicole, his sister Linda Jevic and her husband Ken Brandt all of Piscataway, and two brothers; Alexander of also Piscataway and John Pornovets of South Plainfield. Also surviving are his best friend Tim Benko of South Plainfield many nieces and nephews as well as several great nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 8, 2012 from 1-3 PM in the McCriskin - Gustafson Home For Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Ave., South Plainfield, NJ 07080 followed by a memorial service beginning at 3PM.
