Obituary of Thomas B. Fitzpatrick

Boonton, NJ - formerly of South Plainfield - Thomas B. Fitzpatrick, 53, died suddenly on Friday, October 9, 2015 at his home. Born in Belleville, Thomas had grown up and resided IN South Plainfield and later settled to Boonton. He had been employed as a Dock builder for the NY City District Council of Carpenters, Local # 1556 where he was working as a Foreman. In his youth he played football and basketball. HE enjoyed spending time with his family as well as riding his motorcycle. Predeceased by his mother, Joan, he is survived by his father Bernard and his wife Nancy. His four children; Brian, Caitlyn, Jared, and Leah. Also surviving are his five sisters; Donna Ruotola, Sharon Pennypacker, Maureen Beattie, Diane Carletti and Jean Catania as well as a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, October 14, 2015 at 10AM in Sacred Heart RC Church, 149 South Plainfield Avenue, South Plainfield, NJ., 07080. Following mass cremation and interment of his cremated remains at the family plot in Hillside Cemetery will take place privately. Family and friends may join together for visitation on Tuesday from 4-8 and Wednesday from 9AM -9:30 AM in the McCriskin -Gustafson Home for Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Avenue, South Plainfield, NJ. 07080.
