Plainfield - Kenneth S. Kramer, 77, passed away peacefully Sunday, October 26, 2014 at the Center for Hope Hospice in Scotch Plains.
Born in Jersey City, Ken resided in Union City and Cranford. Recently, Ken has been sharing duel residency in Plainfield and Deerfield Beach, Florida.
A graduate of Seton Hall University, Ken taught mathematics for the Union Board of Education, prior to retiring as their Math Department Supervisor.
An active communicant of St Bernard of Clairvaux and St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, Ken was a choir member and organist with St. Michael's Church of Cranford.
Surviving are his three children, Donna Brancatella and husband Nick of Bayonne, Steven Kramer and girlfriend, Gina Hurley of Pt. Pleasant and Laurie Jessen of Pt Pleasant and partner, Ralph Ferrara of Plainfield.
He will also be missed by his six grandchildren, Matthew and his wife Karalynn, Nicholas, Steven, Dylan, Christian, Danielle and great grand daughter, Savannah.
Funeral services will begin on Friday, October 31, 2014 at 9:15AM in the McCriskin - Gustafson Home For Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Ave., South Plainfield NJ 07080 followed by a funeral mass at St Bernard of Clairvaux and St. Stanislaus Kostka in Plainfield at 10AM.
Entombment will follow in St. Gertrude's Cemetery Mausoleum, Colonia.
Family and friends may attend visitation on Wednesday from 7-9PM and Thursday from 2-4PM and 7-9PM in the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
