Toms River - Lenore (Juliano) Rapiti, 92, died on Tuesday, April 23, 2013 at her home in Toms River.
Born in Newark, Mrs. Rapiti was raised in Pittsburgh, PA and Jersey City. She resided in Roselle, Scotch Plains and Brick prior to settling to Toms River 25 years ago.
Lenore spent 45 years in the banking industry working for various banks prior to retirement.
Mrs. Rapiti enjoyed spending time with family and gardening.
She is predeceased by a sister Margaret Ruett and a brother Pasquale Juliano.
Surviving is her daughter Linda Zushma and her husband Michael of South Plainfield and her son Richard Rapiti of Glen Ridge and his dear friend Stuart Goldberg, a sister Phyllis "Dolly" Juliano of VA., her brother; Madeo Juliano and his wife Carol of FL and five grandchildren; Jason and Richard Bopp, Melinda Ruiz, Kenneth Zushma and Chrisann Palmieri. Also surviving are two great grandchildren; Benjamin and Patrick Palmieri.
Visitation will begin on Saturday, April 27, 2013 at 11:00 AM followed by a 12:30 PM funeral service in the McCriskin - Gustafson Home For Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Ave., South Plainfield, NJ 07080.
Cremation services will be held privately.
Lenore's cremated remains will be laid to rest at Hillside Cemetery at a later date
