Obituary of Helen R Sagramola

South Plainfield - Helen Rita Sagramola, 83, passed away peacefully early Friday morning following a long battle with Alzheimer's. Born in Paterson, NJ, Helen grew up in Pittston, PA and Newark, NJ before settling to South Plainfield in late 1950's. In her younger years, Helen was active with the Deborah Heart and Lung Hospital. Helen was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who took great pride in caring for her family. Predeceased by her husband who died in 2006, Dominick, surviving are her two children, Shirley Pedersen and husband Alvin of South Plainfield and Dominic and his wife Lisa of Piscataway. Additionally, Helen is survived by a granddaughter, Heather Ann Pedersen. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the National Alzheimer's Association. Funeral services are private and under the direction of the South Plainfield Funeral Home, South Plainfield.
