Brooklyn, N.Y.- John Lepore, 99, died Saturday May 3, 2014 at St. Albands Community Living Center in Jamaica, NY.
Born to the late Paquale and Raffella Lepore in Brooklyn, NY, John spent his entire life in the borough.
He worked for Bethlehem Steel Company then entered into the United States Army in 1942 during WWII. John triumphantly received 6 battle stars and was honorably discharged in October of 1945.
Predeceased by his wife; Virginia and two brothers; Matthew and Louis Lepore, surviving are many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends may attend visitation on Wednesday, May 7, 2014 from 3-7PM in the McCriskin - Gustafson Home For Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Ave., South Plainfield NJ 07080.
Funeral services are private.
