Obituary of Joseph Fligiel

Joseph Fligiel, 95, died on Wednesday, February 6, 2013 at home. Born and raised in Jersey City, Mr. Fligiel, along with his family settled to South Plainfield in 1956. He worked as a machinist for the former Kingston and Conley Co. in North Plainfield and later Howell Electric Motor in Plainfield. Joe was an excellent handy man and enjoyed refurbishing furniture. He also enjoyed spending time with his family during the holidays, reminiscing about life in Jersey City and was known for growing great tomatoes. He is predeceased by his wife of nearly 71 years Anna and by all siblings. Surviving are his two daughters; Madeline Kaiser and her husband Richard of Somerset and Jo-Ann Friday of Middlesex.
