Obituary of Gail S. Warren

South Plainfield - Gail S. Warren, 90, died Thursday, October 31, 2013 at Somerset Medical Center in Somerville. Born and raised in Hazelton, PA, Gail settled to South Plainfield in 1952. He served with the United States Army during WWII. After his honorable discharge, Gail worked as a production manager for Northeastern Products in South Plainfield. Gail is a founding and long time member of St. Stephen's Lutheran Church of South Plainfield. During his many years as a faithful member, Gail was instrumental in various capacities throughout the church and will be sadly missed. Predeceased by his daughter, Deborah Neal and sister, Doris Warren, surviving are his wife Elizabeth, three children; Kathleen Winsmann and her husband Wayne, Karen Magner and her husband Thomas and Wayne Warren and his wife Connie all of South Plainfield. Also surviving are his beloved nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Funeral services will begin Monday, November 4, 2013 at 11AM in St. Stephen's Lutheran Church, 3145 Park Ave., South Plainfield NJ 07080. Interment will follow in Hillside Cemetery, Scotch Plains. Family and friends may attend the visitation on Sunday, November 3, 2013 from 3-7PM in the McCriskin - Gustafson Home For Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Ave., South Plainfield,NJ 07080.
