Ronald L. Eodice South Plainfield - Ronald L. Eodice, 70, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 24, 2012 at Overlook Medical Center in Summit with his family at his side. Born in Plainfield to the late Helen and Louis, Ronald has been a lifelong resident of the borough of South Plainfield. A hard working individual, Ronald was the owner and operator of Atlas Welders and Fabricators in South Plainfield for the past 35 years. He was a life member of the South Plainfield Rescue Squad where he served actively for a number of years and also volunteered in all capacities of the organization. In addition, he enjoyed restoring antique cars and following NASCAR. He is survived by his beloved wife of 48 years, Marie( DelNegro) Eodice, his three children; Ronald, Jr. of Brick, David and his wife Gina of Old Bridge, and Karen Ettel and her husband, William of Hillsborough and his three grandchildren; Brandon and Bryce Eodice and Adreanna Ettel. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 29, 2012 at 9:15 AM in the McCriskin - Gustafson Home For Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Ave., South Plainfield, NJ 07080 followed by a funeral mass at 10:00 AM in Sacred Heart RC Church, South Plainfield. Interment will follow in Holy Redeemer Cemetery, South Plainfield. Family and friends may attend the visitation hours on Wednesday from 2-4 & 6-9 PM in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, 1275 York Ave. New York, NY. 10065.
