My very sincere sympathy to Mel's family. I graduated from Irvington High School 6 years before her,but got to know her when attending the wonderful annual All Classes Irvington High Reunions. She was instrumental in making them a huge success and will be sorely missed at them. I just learned of her passing today and wish that I had known in time to pass the word along to so many I am sure would have gone to the visitation at the funeral home. May many good memories remain with you all.

All her friends knew her as Mel she was a kind peron who liked to help out people.
Mel used to help out at the Our Lady of Fatima feast when they had it. She worked in the Big ball booth. She liked doing this and she knew so many people there. She wanted to make sure everything ran just right and all the numbers were correct at the end of the night. She loved when the kids would win a ball because they would be so happy and have such a big smile on their faces. I knew if Mel could she would give them all a ball but she was an honest person and played by the rules. She will be missed by all
She also ran a suport and divorce group at the church and helped a lot of people She did this until the end of June and I know she would have done it longer but couldn't resume it again in Sept.
Rest in peace Mel

My condolence goes out to Mel's family for their loss. I knew Mel since 1992 a long time and have a lot of memories of good times which I will carry with me forever. Mel was one of a kind very warm and caring helpful, and considerate of peoples feelings. I know she will be missed by many. Rest in peace my friend and I am happy that I was able to see you a few months ago. You will never be forgotten. Your friend always and forever Lucy

To: the Skellington and Camuso family My sincere condolences on the loss of Mother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend. Mel and I first met in 1948 and have continued a friendship for 68 yrs. There were so many good times while growing up and then some very tough times along the road of life. I know Mel has had a hard time for the last couple of years and my wish for her is that she is happy again being at home with her Lord. Rest in Peace my friend. I will miss you a whole lot at certain times. But, know this, you will never be forgotten and know that you were always loved by friends. Peace and love to you my friend. Audj
