Obituary of Gerald M. Seider

Warminster, PA - Gerald M. Seider, 64, died suddenly on Sunday, January 11, 2015 in South Plainfield, NJ. Born in Plainfield to the late Adam and Mary (Tooz), Gerry resided in South Plainfield before settling in Warminster, PA over 30 years ago. An honorably discharged veteran of the United States Army, Gerry was employed as a program manager in the computer field for many years. Most recently he worked for Social Security in Philadelphia. Gerry enjoyed the outdoors and taking trips to Martha's Vineyard. He was an avid fisherman and hunter who shared his love of the sport with his son. He was a devoted father, dearest brother, loving friend and good man who loved life. Surviving are his son, Michael (Aleksandra) of Pottstown, PA; loving partner, Gerri Mason and her daughters, Tina and Julie of Philadelphia; sister, Suzanne Butrico (William) of South Plainfield; nieces, Laura and Caryn Butrico and Alison Kaplan (Jay) and a great nephew, Adam Kaplan. Visitation and Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 17, 2015 at from 1-4PM in the McCriskin - Gustafson Home For Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Ave., South Plainfield, NJ 07080. Cremation Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Littoral Society, www.littoralsociety.org or American Heart Association, www.heart.org.
