Bridgewater - Thomas A. Powell, 52, died Friday, December 18, 2015 at home.
Born in New Brunswick, Thomas grew up in Edison and Metuchen before settling to Bridgewater.
He attended Piscataway VoTech where he studied the art of welding and worked for Davis Standard in Bridgewater for many years.
Tommy enjoyed the time spent with his family. He also enjoyed fishing, going to casinos and entertaining family and friends with firework displays.
Predeceased by his parents, Floyd and Joyce Powell, surviving are his wife, Janine (Reale)
Powell; two children, Jacquelyn and Christopher Powell; brother, Robert and wife JoAnne; sister, Christina Powell; mother and father in law, Joseph and Jean Martino and many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends may attend visitation on Monday, December 21, 2015 from 4-8PM in McCriskin - Gustafson Home for Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Avenue South Plainfield, NJ 07080, a prayer service will begin at 7:15PM.
Cremation will be private.
