Obituary of Arlene Connors

Piscataway - Arlene ( nee O'Leary ) Connors, passed away peacefully on June 9, 2015 at her home after a long struggle with COPD. Born and raised in New Jersey, Arlene resided in Florida for nearly 25 years before settling back to New Jersey. Throughout her life, she held various jobs including a modeling, beautician, waitress and travel agent. She also held employment as a care giver. Arlene loved music and to Country Line Dance and was an avid reader. Predeceased by her daughter Barbara Jean "BJ"; son, Phillip and sister Dorothy VanWoeArt, surviving are her granddaughter, Jennifer; two great granddaughters, Tara Marie and Kinzley Anne, four siblings, Shelia Szwast of South Plainfield, Sandra Laughinghouse and husband Gary of The Villages, FL, Robert Floy and wife Grace of East Brunswick and Richard O'Leary and wife Travis of Haines City, FL. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. At her wish, cremation was held privately. A memorial service in her memory will be held at a date to be announced.
