Devoted Mother, Grandmother & Great-grandmother South Plainfield, NJ - Rose (Foglia) Aiello, 95, died on Friday, March 6, 2015 at The Woodlands Center in Plainfield. Born in Bayonne, she was raised on Staten Island, NY and settled to South Plainfield in 1956. Before retirement in 1978, Rose worked for eighteen years at Shop Rite in North Plainfield. She was a member of Sacred Heart RC Church, the South Plainfield Senior Citizens, the Seniors Dinner Group at the former Muhlenberg Regional Medical Center as well as the Scotch Plains YMCA senior group. Besides her parents, Rose is predeceased by her husband Pasquale who died in 1995 and by her three sisters. Rose is survived by her three sons and daughter-in-laws; Richard of GA., Philip and Maryann of South Plainfield and Michael and Nancy of FL. Also surviving are her eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 11, 2015 beginning at 9:15am in McCriskin-Gustafson Home for Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Avenue, South Plainfield, NJ 07080 followed by a 10:00am funeral mass at Sacred Heart RC Church in South Plainfield. Interment will take place in Holy Redeemer Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 10, 2015 from 3-7pm in the funeral home. Memorial contributions in Rose's name may be made to the South Plainfield Senior Citizens, 90 Maple Ave., South Plainfield, NJ 07080.
