Obituary of Josephine Owsianik

Josephine Owsianik, 88, passed away Saturday December 27, 2014 at JFK Medical Center in Edison, NJ following a brief illness. Born in Central City, PA, Josephine was a life long resident of South Plainfield, living in the Borough for more than seventy years. She enjoyed traveling and gardening. Josephine's greatest passion was spending time with her family, particularly with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren She is predeceased by her loving husband of sixty six years, Joseph, who died in November of 2010; mother, Mary (Rembisz); father, Stephen Lewinski; son - in - law, Rev. Robert Graham; grandson, Nicholas Mevoli and five siblings, Stanley Kostszycki, Joseph Kosky, Estelle Martinkovic, Anna Stroke and Frances Mitchell. Surviving are two daughters, Belinda Rudzik (Fred) of Tallahassee FL and Nancy Graham of Shippenville, PA, along with her grandchildren, Jennifer (Joe) Sharpe, Kristine Rudzik, Kathrine Rudzik, Laurie (Matthew) Buzzard and Scott Simpson and fiance Shelby Shultz. She also leaves behind four great-grandchildren, Riley and Josi Buzzard and Elizabeth and Alexandra Sharpe. Family and friends may attend visitation on Thursday, January 1, 2015 from 3-7 PM in the funeral home. Funeral services will begin on Friday, January 2, 2015 at 9:15AM AM in the McCriskin - Gustafson Home For Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Ave., South Plainfield NJ 07080, followed by a funeral mass in Our Lady of Lourdes RC Church, 233 North Main Street, Milltown NJ 08850 at 11AM.
