Obituary of Henry A. Kochut

Henry Kochut South Plainfield - Henry A. Kochut, 63, died on Friday, October 19, 2012 in the Haven Hospice at JFK Medical Center in Edison. Born in Plainfield, Mr. Kochut was raised in Scotch Plains and graduated from Scotch Plains - Fanwood High School. Prior to settling in South Plainfield in 1983, Henry resided in Plainfield and North Plainfield. He worked for the United State Postal Service as was a Superintendent of Postal Operations. An avid Dale Earnhardt fan, Henry was a loyal N.Y. JETS fan as well as a University of Alabama football fan. He is predeceased by his father the late Harry Kochut. Surviving are his wife Sally, his two daughters; Lori Gleason and her husband Stephen of West Seneca, NY and Vicki Collura of South Plainfield, his mother Teresa Kochut of Scotch Plains, his sister Jan Duffy and her husband Tom of Warren and his five grandchildren; Jessica, Brianna and Annalesse Collura and Kayla and Alyson Gleason. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, October 23, 2012 at 9:15AM in the McCriskin - Gustafson Home For Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Ave., South Plainfield, NJ 07080 followed by a 10:00 AM funeral mass at Our Lady of Czestochowa RC Church, South Plainfield. Cremation services will be held privately. Visitation will be held on Monday, October 22, 2012 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM in the funeral home.
