Obituary of Dorathy L. Cesaro

Plainfield - Dorathy L. ( Lalik) Cesaro died on Monday morning, May 26, 2014 at her home. Born in New York City, Mrs. Cesaro had resided in Garfield and Newark until she made her home in Plainfield. A graduate of the Garfield High School Class of 1948, she began a career as an administrative assistant with Prudential Insurance Co. She later worked for Fidelity Union Trust and then the law firms of Toner, Crowley, Woelper & Vanderbilt and Lowenstein & Spencer and lastly for USF & G Bonding Co. She then chose to stay home and raise her family. Dorathy enjoyed knitting, needlework, crossword puzzles and spending time with family and friends . Her husband, Robert J. Cesaro died in August of 1987. Surviving are two daughters, Roberta & her husband Jeff Wierzbinsky of High Bridge and Victoria Cesaro - Rousseau of Plainfield. Also surviving are her three grandchildren, Jessica Rousseau, Jeffrey & Nicholas Wierzbinsky. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 28, 2014 at 12 noon in the McCriskin - Gustafson Home for Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Ave., South Plainfield, NJ. Interment will follow in Hillside Cemetery, Scotch Plains. Family and friends may join the family for visitation from 10am to 12 noon on Wednesday in the funeral home. The family would like to also specifically thank her Cedar Brook family , Twin City Pharmacy and Fr. John from Sacred Heart Church for all of their assistance at this difficult time.
