South Plainfield - Adelina Avelar, 85, died on Wednesday, October 8, 2014 at home.
Adelina was born in El Salvador and resided in South Plainfield.
She is predeceased by a her husband Jose who died in 2012, a daughter Virginia and a brother.
She is survived by her daughters Maria Avelar, Amanda Ringel, Ana Soriano and Alba Rodriguez and her sons David, Jose and Lucio Avelar, andf ive sisters. Also surviving are 21 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2014 at 8:45am in the McCriskin - Gustafson Home For Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Ave., South Plainfield, NJ 07080 followed by a 9:30am funeral mass at St. Mary's RC Church, Plainfield.
Interment will follow at Holy Redeemer Cemetery, South Plainfield.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10, 2014 from 7-9pm in the funeral home
