Obituary of Anthony M. DeLucca

Little Egg Harbor - Anthony DeLucca, 94, died on Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at home. Born in Bernardsville, Anthony grew up in Plainfield and lived in South Plainfield before relocating to Little Egg Harbor in 1987. Mr. DeLucca worked as a welder for the former Howell Electric Motors in Plainfield, retiring in 1987. After settling to Little Egg Harbor, Mr. DeLucca took a part time job working as a toll collector on the Garden State Parkway. He enjoyed attending his grandchildren's sporting events and was also a former member of the North Plainfield Italian American Club. Predeceased by his wife Antoinette (Fusco) who died in 2010, surviving are two daughters, Deborah Grundtisch and her husband Robert Cornine of Little Egg Harbor and Frances DiCarlo and her husband Robert of Martinsville; brother, Michael and his wife Cathy of Lakewood; grandchildren, Maxwell, Peter and Daniel Grundtisch and Mark, Stephanie and Alissa DiCarlo and one great grandchild. Also surviving are several extended loving relatives and friends Relatives and friends will be gathering in the McCriskin - Gustafson Home For Funerals 2425 Plainfield Ave., South Plainfield, NJ on Monday June 20, 2016 at 8:30AM followed by a 10am funeral mass at Sacred Heart RC Church, South Plainfield. Entombment will follow at Lake Nelson Memorial Park Mausoleum.
