Margaret Anabel Terry, nee Mingle 87, of South Plainfield, passed away peacefully on November 19, 2017 at Brookdale Care Center in Hillsborough where she has resided for the past year. Born and raised in Dunellen to the late Elmer and Anabel Mingle, she settled in South Plainfield in 1958. Margaret was a store manager at Belvidere Pharmacy in Plainfield where she worked for over 40 years. She enjoyed bowling, traveling, reading, and would play weekly Bingo at the Somerville Elks. Margaret especially enjoyed day trips to Atlantic City and quality time spent with her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Elwood Marion Terry in 2007, and her dear sister Dorothy "Eileen" Mingle. Surviving are her loving sister Beda J. Dupras nee Mingle of West Deptford, NJ, her twelve adored nieces and nephews, her 25 great-nieces and nephews, and her extended family. Visitation will be held today, Tuesday, November 21, 2017 from 4:00 to 8:00PM at the McCriskin-Gustafson Home for Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Avenue, South Plainfield. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00AM on Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at The Church of the Sacred Heart in South Plainfield. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery, Scotch Plains. Memorial contributions may be made in Margaret's memory to Jack's Kids c/o Somerville Elks, 375 Union Avenue, Bridgewater, NJ 08807
