Obituary of Doris Milo

South Plainfield, NJ - On Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at JFK Medical Center in Edison, after a brief illness, Doris (Adolph) Milo, passed away on her 88th birthday and what would have been her sixty-fourth wedding anniversary with her late husband John, who died just three months ago. Born in Hillside to the late Carl and Emma (Rose) Adolph, Doris has lived in South Plainfield for the last sixty years.
In her earlier years, she worked at Chanel in Piscataway in Data Entry. She devoted her time as a homemaker caring for her loving family. She enjoyed arts and crafts, sewing, knitting, playing the piano and gardening.
Predeceased by her husband John in August and two siblings; Emma Cook and Carl Adolph, Doris leaves behind her loving family; son Don and his wife Pamela of Kintnersville, PA, daughter Sharyn Milo of South Plainfield and son Dan and his wife Jennifer of Stewartsville. She will be deeply missed by her three grandchildren; Alexis Milo-Fish, Kyle Junge and Danielle Milo and by her brother Harold "Butch" Adolph of Colonia.
Visitation will take place on Monday, November 27, 2017 in the McCriskin-Gustafson Home for Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Avenue, South Plainfield, NJ 07080 from 6-8 pm with concluding reflections at 7:45pm. At the request of the Milo family, cremation will take place privately.
