Dear Susan, Christopher, Anya, Matthew and Zachary, Please accept our heartfelt condolences on the untimely passing of Dexter. We are so very sad for your loss and send you all our love and best wishes. Ilze and I have such fond memories of Dexter from our time in Overbrook Road and beyond - Dexter was the consummate gentleman, with an amazing empathy for all he met and an everpresent twinkle in his eye. Just being with him brightened your day. Ilze, Alex and I will sorely miss him - although he and I never went out on our motorcycles together I hope he is out there in heaven feeling the breeze on his face as he racks up the miles in Paradise. Rest easy dear friend, we surely miss you. Adrian, Ilze and Alex Bruning

I just wanted to express my deepest condolences to the Lopez family, esp to his wife, Susan, and his children. I worked with Dexter back a few years ago at Alcatel-Lucent. I was new to the job and went to him on several occasions for help. He had always been sweet and funny when I did. Dexter was just a overall cool guy. I am sorry to hear he is no longer with us. Best wishes to you all.

I would like to express my heartfelt condolences to the Lopez family at the sad and untimely passing of Dexter. It was a privelege to have worked with him over the past 6 years where he endlessly diplayed his professionalism, understanding, patience and dedication. He also had such a wonderful hearty laugh. Dexter often spoke of his family in a way that only a deeply loving and caring father can do. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this most difficult of times.

Dexter was the most polite, professional, patient, pleasant person I've ever work with in my 32 year career. We initially met in Liberty Corner in the 80s in Datakit days then worked together in 2008/2009 on extremely complex managed services deals that he worked his financial magic on. He always listened, helped explain and provided timely guidance to what ever you needed. His results were never challenged as everyone knew the time, effort and quality he demanded in his work. He was so proud of his family and couldn't wait to be with them during our long stays away from home. The Lopez family has a very special angel that is now watching over them in all that they do. Best Regards

Dear Mrs. Lopez, Zach, Anya, Chris and Matthew, My granddaughter Jade told me about Mr. Lopez a few days ago. I was so very sad to hear that he died and my heart breaks for the family. However I know that you are resilent, creative and positive...It will be hard but you will make it through. I want to be there with you tomorrow but I have to go to New York to check on my 90 year old father who fell yesterday. I will be in touch. Please know that I am thinking about you all during this difficult time and sending prayers and love... Sincerely, Rebecca Walker

It is hard to express feelings by words in face of such an incredible loss. I feel extremely honoured having had the opportunity to work with Dexter, a strong professional and at the same time a great colleague we could have fun with. And I feel extremely sad, that there will no possibility to meet Dexter again, at least not in this world. My thoughts are with Dexter's family and my memory will keep the times alive, where we met. May Dexter rest in peace.

I'd like to pass on my condolences and best wishes to the Lopez family. I am so sorry for your loss. I only met Dexter a few times but have spent many hours, as recently as just before Christmas, on the phone with Dexter. No matter how frustrating or stupid the questions, or ridiculously early the call, Dexter always kept true to himself and showed great patience, knowledge and humor. I wish we'd taken up less of his time. Rest in peace Dexter.

A man who helped to build such a phenomenal family can never be gone or forgotten. Though you rest in peace, you live on.

I have been announced Dexters departure. After the shock and some hours of remembering I decided humbly to write some lines to pay tribute to Dexters impacts on my work in Alcatel-Lucent for the past 5 years amongst the Managed Services community at large. First of all I cant avoid thinking of Dexter when I open my "FBC" files! That may sounds very electronic as opposed to a more human memory but thats what come to my mind as we, Dexter and myself and I believe also for many of you, have spent so many hours/nights working to develop, tune, the many MS business cases. I also remember the very fruitful and deep conversations we had on assessing the risks on the fine details arising out our proposals. Dexter was a master in detailing the many traps and highlighting unforeseeable cases. This is definitively a big loss for all of us. _________________
