Martha A. Butrico, 96, of South Plainfield, passed away peacefully on May 6, 2016 at Cedar Brook Care Center in Plainfield. Born in Piscataway to the late Chester M. and Grace E. Remley, she grew up in the New Market Section of Piscataway, and resided most of her life in South Plainfield. In 1990 she moved to Jacksonville Florida with her son, and was a former resident of Pennsylvania, before settling back in South Plainfield with her daughter. Mrs. Butrico worked at Cornel-Dublin when she was younger, and enjoyed ice skating.
She was preceded in death by her husband James M. Butrico, and her ten siblings.
Surviving are her loving children, James Butrico, and Diane Byrd and husband James, her cherished grandchildren, Randall Boos, and wife Dana and Jared Butrico, and great grandchildren Maxx and Skylar Boos, and her dear sister, Alzadah Leaver.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00pm on Wednesday, May 11th 2016 at the McCriskin-Gustafson Home for Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Avenue, South Plainfield. Funeral services will be held at 7:00PM at the funeral home.
