Obituary of Alice M. Dobrowolski

Piscataway - Alice M. Dobrowolski, 77, died on Sunday, May 15, 2016 in Robert Wood Johnson at Somerset in Somerville. Born in Roselle, Alice grew up in Kenilworth and resided in Elizabeth prior to settling to Piscataway in 1973. Mrs. Dobrowolski worked as a school bus driver for Piscataway Township for nearly 40 years retiring in 2014. She enjoyed traveling but her true joy was spending time with her family and friends. Alice is predeceased by a sister Mary Stimax and two brothers Charles and Joseph Beurer. Surviving are her husband Edward of 53 years; daughter, Laura Dobrowolski of Edison; sons, Michael (Patricia) of Glen Gardner and Edward Jr. (Patricia Longordo) of Milford; sisters, Ilene Beurer of Florida, Edith Kaczanowski of Lakewood, Shirley Kizima, Gail Stoerger of Union, Millie Scorese of Kenilworth and Ellen Beurer of California; brother, Edward Beurer of Idaho; grandchildren, Edward, Christina, Stephanie, David, Alyssa and Hailey and great grandchildren, Travis and Logan. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, May 19, 2016 at 9:30AM in the McCriskin - Gustafson Home For Funerals 2425 Plainfield Ave. South Plainfield, NJ 07080 followed by a 10:30AM funeral mass at Our Lady of Fatima RC Church, Piscataway. Interment will follow at Graceland Memorial Park, Kenilworth. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 18, 2016 from 4-8PM in the funeral home.
