Obituary of Jeanne M. Pullen

South Plainfield - Jeanne M. ( LaFleur ) Pullen, 71, died on Thursday evening, April 14, 2016 at JFK Medical Center in Edison.
Born in Summit, she had resided in Dunellen and settled to South Plainfield 48 years ago.
She attended Dunellen High School where she was an exuberant cheerleader and later in life spent numerous hours on working with the reunion committee.
Jeanne began her employment with Hess Oil Company and American Hoechst before retiring from the South Plainfield Board Of Education where she worked as a Bookkeeper. Additionally, Jeanne volunteered in the Library at the John E. Riley School.
She enjoyed reading and traveling with her sister aboard numerous ships as they cruised to various locations around the world.
Predeceased by her parents, Frank and Frances ( Rohder ), surviving are her husband, Henry Pullen, sons; Brian and his wife Lynda and Marc and his wife, Sherri, three grandchildren; Brian, Michael and his wife Megan, and Samantha, a sister; Christine Stine and her family: son, Gary and his wife Sandy, as well as their children and grandchildren.
Family and friend are invited to join together for visitation on Thursday, April 21, 2016 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM and again on Friday, April 22, 2016 from 2 - 5:30 PM with family reflections beginning at 5:30 PM in the McCriskin - Gustafson Home For Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Avenue, South Plainfield, NJ. 07080.
Cremation and burial services will take place privately.
In lieu of flowers, donation in her memory may be made to one of the three choices; Wounded Warrior Project, the South Plainfield Rescue Squad or the South Plainfield Volunteer Fire Department.
