Obituary of Roberto Espina Kaimo

Roberto "Bobby" Espina Kaimo, 72, of South Plainfield, passed away on July 28, 2016 at JFK Medical Center in Edison. Born in Surigao City, Philippines to the late Ramon and Carmen Kaimo, he went on to graduate from F.E.U. in Manila with his Bachelors Degree in Commerce. Mr. Kaimo then worked for Yco Paints in the Phillippines, before moving to the United States where he worked for Troy Chemical Company in Newark as an Inventory Manager where he retired from in 2006. He was a former resident of Edison, before settling in South Plainfield five years ago. Roberto was a communicant of The Church of the Sacred Heart in South Plainfield. He was an International Chess Master, who enjoyed bowling, singing, dancing, and was known as the life of the party. He was devoted to his family, and enjoyed the quality time spent together. Surviving are his beloved wife of 42years, Veronica "Roni" Kaimo nee Bernal, his loving son Bob Ryan and wife Jessica, and his cherished grandchildren Naomi and Micah, his dear siblings Teresita Almeda, Reynaldo Kaimo, Antonio Kaimo, and Alfredo Kaimo and wife Emma, as well as many extended family and dear friends. Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 31, 2016 from 2:00 to 5:00PM at the McCriskin-Gustafson Home for Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Avenue, South Plainfield. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00AM on Monday, August 1st 2016 at the Church of the Sacred Heart,149 South Plainfield Avenue, South Plainfield, NJ.
