Obituary of Helen J. Dziowgo

Bridgewater - Helen J. Dziowgo, 88, died on Thursday, May 12, 2016 in Robert Wood Johnson at Somerset Medical Center in Somerville. Born in Henlawson, West Virginia, Helen raised her family in Bronx, NY and had resided in East Orange, Somerville, Fountain Hills, AZ and Manchester, Nj prior to relocating to Bridgewater. Helen worked for Mack Trucks in Bridgewater as a key punch operator for 17 years, retiring in 1986. Mrs. Dziowgo led a glamorous and full life. She enjoyed going on cruises and genuinely enjoyed volunteering for those in need. She took time to shop for those were unable to leave their home, drive others to doctor appointments and even found time to sit and provide company to Alzheimer patients. Additionally, Helen belonged to a knitting group that crafted hats for babies and military and lap blankets for seniors. Although she truly enjoyed volunteering, her greatest joy was her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is predeceased by her 1st husband Joseph and by her 2nd husband Harry Bremer; a son, Joseph S.; granddaughter, Cynthia Haver and siblings, Mary Davies, Olga Molloy, and Steve and Johnny Solar. Surviving are her children, Elizabeth Haver and her husband Roger of Piscataway, Michael Dziowgo also of Piscataway and Edward Dziowgo of Florida; sister, Violet DeRosa of Forked River; brothers, Otis Solar and his wife Linda of Ill. And Ernest Solar and his wife Carol of VA.; grandchildren, Christopher Haver and his wife Denise, Matthew Ehlbeck and Melissa Dziowgo and her great grandchildren, Michael, Jonathan and Albert. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, May 16, 2016 at 10am at St. Frances Cabrini RC Church 208 Bound Brook Ave. Piscataway, NJ 08854 Interment will follow at Resurrection Burial Park, Piscataway. In Lieu of Flowers donations have been requested to St. Frances Cabrini RC Church 208 Bound Brook Ave. Piscataway, NJ 08854.
