To the family of Bob (OddballBob on eBay): Although we never met, we had several mutually satisfying eBay transactions and I am saddened at Bob's passing. He was a square shooter in each deal we made and I shall miss him very much. You are in our prayers: John 3:16-17. Stephen & Linda Mitchell (TheBaseballHobbyist, eBay ID)

Good Evening To The Stryker Family - We are Ken & Faye Mitchell from Canada and we had the pleasure to meet up with Bob & Daisy when we began staying in the same complex, The Ocotillo, in Palm Springs. Our friendship grew and eventually we were actually neighbours; side by side in the complex. We so missed Daisy when she passed as she was probably the sweetest person we ever met. Bob and I grew very close over the years as he taught me the game called " Texas Holdem " which we played once a week down there. He took great pride in beating me but always with a smile. Having the same demented sense of humour we stayed in touch by either emailing or calling each other when we returned from Palm Springs. Then just prior to the pandemic, Bob came back to PS with his beautiful granddaughter and it was so nice to see him again.
We will never forget our years of friendship and we want you all to know that we have you in our daily thoughts and prayers and will hold onto the memories of Bob & Daisy forever.
Our sincere condolences to those lovely daughters and all the Stryker family.
Sincerely,
Ken & Faye Mitchell

Bob was my brother by choice and what a privilege that was. He was a devilish teenager in the 50's and became a true renaissance man in his later years. He was so kind, compassionate, sensitive, hard working, intelligent and always had time to listen to whomever wanted to share. We had so many good times and I was so lucky to be included in many family trips and activities. It was such a gift to be with him and Daisy and I'll always treasure our wonderful memories. They'll always have my love and prayers. RIP dear ones!

I will miss my favorite Uncle....He was a 2nd father to me growing up.....a role model. My childhood memories are as wonderful as they are because he was a part of so many of them. I will miss the jokes, the emails, the talks on the phone and seeing him. He was one of the most loving, caring compassionate individuals this world has seen. I will miss you. Uncle Bob.

Bob and Daisy joined me for lunch a few years ago when they were staying in Palm Springs. It was a delightful time reliving old PHS memories together. Little did I know that was the last time we would meet. But, as they say, the memories will linger on. My condolences to his children and grandchildren.
