Q: How would you describe Joan to someone who had never met them?
A: She was a caring person who loved everyone and always had a smile on her face. She also loved to Help people who needed it. I remember going to my grandparents and them being there and we would have a great time. She has a heart of gold and will be flying with the angels. She will be missed by a lot of people but we remember the special smile that we would see on her face all the time. RIP no more pain and with the angels. Love and will miss you very much love June

Aunt Joanie was the most vibrant, beautiful and kind soul ❤️ Her smile and love was felt by anyone who had the pleasure of knowing her! I have many memories of her and feel blessed to call her my Aunt. She was an Angel here on earth and I know she is now up in Heaven. My love, thoughts and prayers are with you all through this difficult time. Uncle Ray, I'm praying daily for you as I know she was your world as you were hers. I love you ❤️

I once asked Aunt Joan what was the lovely fragrance she wore because she smelled like fresh air and beach, and she said it was Amazing Grace. Can’t think if a more fitting memory for a lovely, beautiful inside and outside, kind woman.
I’ll miss her❤️

Aunt Sandy came to see mom and the two had time together to laugh cry blame each other on things when they were young. It was so special.
This is a picture of when they seen each other when Aunt Sandy came. You can see the love between these two sisters…

I was fortunate enough to meet Aunt Joanie through my wife, Bonnie. Especially at Christmas we would visit Uncle Ray and Aunt Joanie with my boys as they were growing up. She was always a gracious hostess and I will always remember her warm and welcoming smile! She had a wonderful sense of humor too. For such a petite lady she had tremendous fortitude and spirit. God Bless you, Aunt Joanie.

I will miss all the good times we had together at family gatherings over the years. I had fun swapping zucchini bread and other recipes that we enjoyed cooking for our families. I have fond memories of the many adventures we had together camping and the memories we made. You will be missed by everyone who has known you in their lifetime but will never to be forgotten. Blessings to you and your family. Sending love to all.

Dear Uncle Ray and family,
Aunt Joan will always be remembered as a beautiful woman inside and out. Her laughter will be with me forever; it was so sweet and contagious. I love how she always saw the good in everyone. She loved her family tremendously and spoke of them often. I cherished our talks together even though we didn't get together in person. We loved the same TV shows and would talk and laugh about them. I remember our visits to your home and Aunt Joan would always bake her Christmas snowballs; they were my favorite. Please remember how much you and your family are loved and all the beautiful memoires we have of her and you will be in my heart forever. Love and hugs, Bonnie

I will always remember visiting and just hanging out with the family and just having a great time.
She is like a second mom to me and will be missed until I see her again.
Love you Aunt Joan
