We had formed a unique bond over time, shared through our waves and friendly "Hellos!" or 'Good Mornings" on our way out or returning home to sit at a table in my backyard for some small celebrations. He is family! You will be missed, Steve, but never forgotten! I will continue looking at your house on my way out and back in and say hello and good morning to you! Rest in eternal peace, dear Steve, our good neighbor and friend!

I unfortunately did not get to share a wealth of moments with "Uncle Steve". I always love meeting someone for the first time who doesn't seem to meet a stranger and makes you feel more like a welcomed friend instead. It took him all of two minutes from the moment we met to pridefully show off the pictures of his family. I'd like to extend my condolences to all who love Uncle Steve, and I hope all your fond memories of him can soon soothe the grief that comes with missing a loved one.

Steve was a great neighbor. When I was pregnant with our youngest we had a snowstorm. My husband was stuck at work and I started shoveling. Steve came over to shovel for me. He said my brother was the only democrat he ever liked! I know how excited he was to become a great grandfather. I am so sorry for your loss.
